THE VINEYARD
The site, the farming, and how we work with partners.
The land chose this. We just paid attention.
The Site
Opa's Acres sits on 217 acres in Oregon's Van Duzer Corridor, with 27 planted acres of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay and room to expand as the right partnerships take shape. The vines are on south-facing slopes between 200 and 400 feet of elevation, planted to Pommard and 777 clones on 3309 rootstock, with roughly 7 acres of Chardonnay.
The Corridor is one of the Willamette Valley's most consistently cool-climate growing zones. That cool-climate character is the point: it produces Pinot Noir with the acidity and structure serious buyers are actively seeking.
Cool-climate fruit from the Corridor, farmed the way it should be.
How we farm
We dry-farm by choice. The irrigation rights exist if climate conditions ever make them necessary, but the belief here is that dry farming develops better fruit.
This is a legacy property. The goal is for this land to still be producing exceptional fruit fifty years from now, possibly under the next generation of the Raab family. Every decision is made with that horizon in mind.
Named for a man who did things right.
The site is managed by Results Partners, one of the valley's most established vineyard management operators. The clones, the rootstock, and the soil work were all chosen and done properly before the first vine went into the ground.
How partnerships work
We can structure buyer relationships in ways most growers won't consider: per ton, per acre, or collaborative arrangements where risk and profit are shared. That flexibility is real and offered freely, but it works within a foundation of mutual trust.
A buyer who comes to Opa's Acres should feel, over time, that they've found a long-term partner. We're managed with the financial stability to honor contracts through difficult vintages, because that's what a partner does.
Grown with intention. Delivered with reliability.
Who we work with
Mid-tier production wineries.
Established wineries making quality wine at scale, who need reliable tonnage, honest communication, a cool-climate profile that adds to their sourcing mix, and a farmer they'd be comfortable putting on the label.
Boutique wineries seeking cool-climate fruit.
Smaller, site-specific producers looking for fruit with acidity, structure, and a genuine story, plus a grower willing to collaborate on farming decisions and not over-produce the block they're paying for.
For both, we offer flexible contract structures and a site in an AVA whose profile is rising nationally with sommeliers and buyers.
